Taking into account tsardom, Nazi collaboration, allied bombardment, real socialism and post-communist society, the Bulgarian Bauhaus did survive pretty well even if, at times, naked wooden floorboards had serve as support for the hearths of the naive.

Nowhere does it appear to be more in sync with world history than here where even young people, who have forsaken history, wear modernity on hoodies and paint it onto walls.*
