In the wake of being a European Capital of Culture, Plovdiv has recognized the Bauhaus, together with the city’s architectural inheritance, as an achievement of cultural significance.

Its owners, however, have not got the message yet. The inhabitants for their part love the current architectural standard of their Bauhaus, be it carefully restored, frustratingly pathetic or plain dangerous.
